Breads and Cobblers
Got a beer that you don't know what to do with? You're kidding right? Oh well, just in case you do, you can use it (or a pop) to make some really great homemade bread. You simply dump the mix into a bowl, add the beer or pop and mix well. Put in a greased loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes. Out comes this hot delectable bread that you can serve to your family or guests or just eat hot with butter on it. (Yum yum)
There are three different flavors and I personally use each of them for different things. I love the basic bread anytime, the cinnamon & raisin bread makes a tasty breakfast (if you have leftovers, its a great way to make bread pudding) and the garlic and herb bread can't be beat for Italian night! It also makes the best croutons you will ever eat! We will also offer a few other flavors during the holidays. Each mix makes one loaf.
Dad's Miracle Cobbler Mix is absolutely wonderful! All you do is melt butter, add milk to mix, pour over melted butter then add whatever fruit you wish. Makes an 9 x 13 pan. Keep one of these in your cabinet and you will always have dessert for your family or unexpected guest.
